The origami-styled fan made of at least 100 paper blotters was created by French designer Sylvain Le Guen. We took turns fluttering the fan to catch a whiff of the floral scent created by celebrated perfumer Francis Kurkdjian, whom Chaya CEO and co-founder of luxury perfume house, Maison Francis Kurkdjian (MFK) called a genius.
Kurkdjian believes that creating scent is an art form. He was the first perfumer to collaborate with artists to incorporate scent into the aesthetic experience and the first to create bespoke fragrances for private clients, said Chaya.
Just like youd go to a couturier for a haute couture dress, Kurkdjian can custom-make your own scent. Its yours for life, added the charming 38-year-old.
